Welcome To My About Me Page!

About me?? There's not much to tell. I'm a 26 year old engineering graduate student on an academic scholarship at the Oregon Institute of Technology. I'll be graduating one of these days, although it doesn't feel that way sometimes.

This will be my third year growing the Atlantic Giant's. Thanks to all the wonderful growers at BigPumpkins.com I have a good chance of growing a good size pumpkin. The people involved in pumpkin growing never cease to amaze me. Even the most experienced growers are willing to share their knowledge with inexperienced growers like myself and they'll go out of their way to help you in any way possible. It's really great!! A big thank you to everyone who has helped me get started!

Here is a picture of my girlfriend and I at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon. We live about an hour away from the park and enjoy driving up there from time to time to play in the insane amount of snow they have up there. Crater Lake averages about 529 inches of snow per year....that's right 529 inches or close to 45 feet annually!!

Besides studying, I enjoy doing as much "hands on" work as I can. I love turning wrenches and also enjoy working with metal. Here's a picture of me working on a double axle trailer frame. You gotta love the smell of a 6013 welding rod in the morning!! LOL

OK, OK, enough about me. Time to get back out to the patch!! :-)
