Welcome To Brian's Giant Pumpkin Page!
Ever since I got the giant pumpkin bug in the Fall of 2003, my family and friends have accused me of being a little crazy. You as a fellow pumpkin grower can attest to the fact that most people just don't understand why we do it. Why would we spend hundreds of dollars and countless hours out in the patch just to grow a giant pumpkin that's not even edible? I say "Why Not!" I can't speak for everyone but I can honestly say that as a pumpkin grower, I would much rather be out in the patch getting dirty than sitting in front of this computer right now. Rather than hiding my pumpkin obsession from family and friends, I have chosen to create a site to hopefully help spread the obsession to others! If you're one of those people who simply can't understand why we do what we do, I encourage you to try it for yourself. Once you experience just how amazing it is to grow a pumpkin larger than you could have ever imagined possible, I guarantee you'll be hooked! Please feel free to use the navigation bars at the top and side of the site to visit my grower diaries and view other information I have learned while researching and attempting to grow these monsters. I would like to thank all of the growers who were kind and generous enough to help me get started by sending me some great seeds.
